Indspan is a cross border advisory firm that specializes in providing guidance and advice to companies that are invested or looking to invest in India and to Indian companies who are looking to expand and invest in overseas markets. At the same time, we also support MNCs which would like to exit their operations in India. Founded by experienced bankers; Vish Iyer and Vijay Tangirala, the firm has in-depth knowledge of the legal, regulatory, and economic landscape of both India and the countries in which their clients operate
The Founders and their relevant experience
Vish and Vijay have a cumulative experience of close to 50 years in banking, manufacturing and the consulting domains.
Their international experience covers extensive work record of operating in countries like India, Philippines and Thailand, apart from having strong touch points of extensive cross border dealings with Australia, Europe, Asia & Africa.
The founders and the firm thus bring an in-depth understanding of the cultural and economic differences between India and the countries where their clients operate, allowing them to provide unique insights and guidance to their clients.
Between them; the founders have advised and managed multi-currency capital raising transactions for cross border acquisitions in the US, Australia, Africa & Middle east.
They have advised a large Middle Eastern bank on their India entry strategy, worked in the leadership team of Australian banks during the setup stage of their India & Thailand franchise (and the subsequent exit from Thailand of the Australian bank), advised a large FMCG firm on the feasibility of setting up a payments bank and helped a mid-sized engineering company in forming a cross border technology partnership for specialized industrial equipment.
